Terms of Service

By accessing or using ReviewHQ (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, don't use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By signing up you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

• Use a strong, unique password.
• Don't share your account with others.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including accounts created with false identity or used to post fake reviews.

When you publish a review, comment, rating, or photo on ReviewHQ, it becomes "User Content." You keep ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and adapt it for the purpose of running the Service.

By posting, you agree that:

• Your review reflects genuine, first-hand experience with the product.
• You were not paid, comped, or otherwise compensated by the brand to write it — unless disclosed.
• Content is not misleading, defamatory, hateful, obscene, or infringing.
• You haven't used generative AI to fabricate the review.

We use automated fake-review detection and may remove content, reduce its visibility, or revoke rewards earned from content that violates these rules.

You can earn reward points for activities like completing onboarding, publishing verified reviews, and referring friends. Reward points are a loyalty benefit — not currency or a financial instrument.

• Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold.
• Points may expire if your account is inactive for 12 months.
• Points earned from removed or flagged reviews may be revoked.
• We may change the rewards structure with 30 days' notice.

ReviewHQ uses AI models to summarise reviews, generate compatibility scores, analyse face scans, and answer questions in expert chat. These outputs are generated automatically and may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate.

ReviewHQ is not a medical service. Our content is informational only and is not a substitute for a licensed dermatologist, pharmacist, or doctor. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication, consult a qualified professional before changing your routine.

Some product pages include "Buy" links to third-party retailers. In some cases we may earn a commission when you purchase through these links. Affiliate relationships never influence which products we show you or how they are ranked — ranking is driven only by profile match and verified review data.

You agree not to:

• Post fake, paid, incentivised, or AI-generated reviews.
• Harass, impersonate, or threaten other users.
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data without written permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Upload malware or exploit vulnerabilities.
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.

ReviewHQ, the logo, UI, copy, and underlying software are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our written permission. Product names, images, and brand trademarks belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification only.

You can close your account at any time from Settings → Privacy. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continued access creates a security risk for other users.

On termination, access to the Service ends. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, dispute resolution) will remain in effect.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate for your specific situation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReviewHQ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $100.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll email active users at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
